Supply Chain Coordinator Ndabeni Pinelands Cape Town

Our product/brand company client in Pinelands is looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator Ndabeni Pinelands Cape Town. The role is to execute the production plan so that constant production is maintained. Ensure that stock is received and to coordinate customer orders accurately.

Minimum Qualification
Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics
Minimum 3 years in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment including exposure to international supply chains, working with freight forwarders and distribution channels
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly intermediate Excel skills
Knowledge of Syspro software

Key Responsibilities
Capturing of all purchase orders and jobs in Syspro
Place purchase orders and jobs with manufacturers and suppliers
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on delivery dates, resolve any queries and escalate any concerns
Manage stock in inspection, sampling and release from the QA department
Support the sourcing of new suppliers and grow the relationship with current suppliers
Support any supplier pricing improvement projects
Receive all sales orders and process on the ERP system
Upload orders to the external warehouse order fulfilment system.

Ensure stock is allocated and rotated according to agreed standards
Upload and instruct 3rd parties to pick and pack orders, arrange transport for deliveries and issue customer invoices
Identify and drive opportunities for improvements in terms of service improvement and overall cost reduction for the complete supply chain.
