Job Description
Senior Bookkeeper Century City Milnerton Cape Town
Our Client in Century City, Milnerton Cape Town is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with 8 years  years’ experience. You will report to the Financial Director. Experiencing on SAGE is an added bonus.

Min Requirement
- Matric
- Financial Diploma or degree an added bonus
- Sound knowledge of Sage X3 and SAGE Cloud
- Excellent computer literacy
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, including particularly proficiency in using Excel.
- Have experience with SARS Efiling
Responsibilities
- Full Bookkeeping/accounting function up to Balance sheets
- Processing of purchase invoices, credit card expenses, and expense claims
- Recording, obtaining approval, and capturing into Sage
- Capture invoices and cashbook transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts, control accounts
- Reconcile accounts – including but not limited to Bank, PAYE, VAT, Inter-company loans, directors’ loan accounts, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, etc.
- Process small (up to 75) monthly payroll on Sage Cloud for Business payroll (monthly)
- Analyse accounts and prepare variance analysis
- Maintain cashbooks and reconcile bank accounts daily
- Assist the Group FM to prepare monthly management accounts, to prepare company accounts and to prepare annual budgets.
- Assist Group FM with year-end audit and preparation of statutory accounts Assist with year-end audit requests
- VAT – Preparation of monthly VAT returns
- Prepare and submit monthly PAYE returns, submit 6 monthly EMP501 returns on Easyfile
- Prepare and submit UIF monthly returns
