Junior Compliance Administrator Milnerton Cape Town

 

Our client is a leading FMCG business focused on food & beverage seeks a Junior Compliance Administrator. They pride themselves on product quality, regulatory compliance and strong customer service across South African markets.

 

Salary: Market related

 

Minimum requirements

  • Matric plus a relevant certificate or diploma (e.g., Business Administration, Legal Studies, Risk & Compliance) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years’ administrative or compliance-related experience; experience in FMCG, retail, food safety or regulated industries
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with database entry or compliance software is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and follow processes.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support the compliance team with day-to-day administrative tasks (filing, record maintenance, tracking deadlines).
  • Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory returns and statutory filings.
  • Maintain and update compliance registers and policy documents.
  • Assist with internal compliance audits and routine checks; document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support onboarding and training administration for compliance-related policies.
  • Respond to basic compliance queries from internal stakeholders and escalate complex issues.
  • Help manage vendor and product documentation (certificates, MSDS, approvals) where required.
  • Maintain logs of licenses, permits and renewal dates; trigger reminders and track renewals.
  • Support preparation of compliance reports and data entry into compliance systems.
  • Ad hoc administrative support for the Compliance/Legal team.
