Our Manufacturing client in Montague Gardens is looking for a Procurement Specialist with 5 years plus experience in managing the companies procurement processes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field
Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in the Manufacturing industry
Knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing strategies
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
Responsibilities
Manage the procurement process for the manufacturing components and materials from local and international suppliers
Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
Negotiate contracts to ensure outcomes and cost-saving
Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality
Supply chain control
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate forecasting to avoid material shortages
Collaborate with production teams to identify sourcing opportunities
Identify opportunities to implement new technologies
