Procurement & Supply Chain Officer Midrand Johannesburg
Our client a FMCG concern in Midrand Johannesburg is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Officer with 3+ years’ experience within manufacturing and production industry. Negotiation skills as well as conflict management abilities required.
Salary: Negotiable
Minimum Requirements:
Matric with Supply Chain or Procurement Certification
5 years Procurement (Raw material handling to finished goods)
3 year Supply Chain experience within the manufacturing/production industry
Tender management
Material management (materials, pricing, delivery and payment terms)
Strong computer literacy – MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities:
Requesting quotations for materials including delivery timeframes and payment terms
Price and delivery negotiation
Planning and scheduling
Arranging for storage to be delivered to site
Source best prices for materials and issue procurement orders
Follow up on deliveries
Negotiate payment terms
