Risk & Governance Legal Counsel Johannesburg
Our Financial Services Client seeks a Risk & Governance Legal Counsel with 3 years post qualification experience. Provide legal support across corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management, ensuring the business operates within applicable laws, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
Salary: Market related
Minimum Requirements
- LLB
- Admitted attorney (or admission eligible) preferred.
- 3+ years post-qualification experience (in-house or law firm).
- Solid understanding of corporate governance and SA regulatory environment.
- Strong drafting, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to King IV, POPIA, financial services regulation, or listed company governance – advantages
- Experience working with board/committee structures.
