Job Description

HR Generalist Epping Cape Town

Our client is looking for a HR Generalist in Epping to manage a wide range of HR functions within the company. Their role is to ensure that HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and that the organization is compliant with labor laws and regulations.

Min requirement

  • HR Degree or diploma in HR
  • 5 years of HR and Payroll experience
  • Experience with HR software and excel
  • Employee Relations experience dealing with outsourced agencies
  • Recruitment experience – selecting candidate for interviews
  • HR Administration and control experience 

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding – Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company.
  • Employee Relations – Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Address and resolve workplace conflicts and issues, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management – Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
  • Training and Development – Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and other training initiatives to enhance employee skills.
  • Ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time.
  • HR Administration – Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Health and Safety – Promote workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
