Communication Specialist Sandton Johannesburg  

Our Client a global brand is looking for a Communication Specialist with 5 years creative and communication specialist experience. You must be on the communication specialist level of dealing with high end level creative and communication / PR tasks. The Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance the organization’s brand, promote its services, and engage with stakeholders. This role involves creating content for various platforms, managing internal and external communications, and supporting public relations efforts.

Salary Market related plus Benefits – EE position 

 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

5 +years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.

Proven experience in content creation and management across various platforms.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media management.

Strong understanding of media relations and public relations strategies.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in using communication tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms).

Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Create, edit, and publish engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.

Manage the organization’s social media presence and engage with the audience to enhance brand visibility.

Coordinate and execute public relations campaigns, including media outreach and event planning.

Monitor and analyse communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
