Financial Manager Midrand Johannesburg Gauteng
Our manufacturing client in Midrand is looking for a Financial Manager with 5 years plus experience.
Salary Market related
Min Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years plus of experience as a Financial Manager or similar role from a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
- Excellent experience in using Excel and SAGE
- Extensive knowledge and experience with product costing raw to finish
Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 5 staff members within the finance team reporting to the CFO
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals working on SAGE
- Product, production and labour costings
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Budget Management and Financial Reporting
- Compliance and Governance – Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain effective internal controls and governance processes.
