Risk Manager Rosebank Johannesburg

Lead and deliver risk assessments and risk advisory engagements for fintech clients. The Risk Manager will plan and execute end-to-end assessments across enterprise risk, operational risk, technology/cyber risk, third-party risk, regulatory/compliance risk, and (where relevant) financial crime risk, producing clear risk reports, actionable remediation roadmaps, and executive-ready presentations.

Salary: Market Related ctc

Travel: As required to client sites Nationally

Minimum Requirements

• Qualifications/certifications: CRISC, CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 LA/LI, FRM, PRM, CIA
• Experience with cloud environments and common fintech stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP), SDLC/DevOps controls, and operational resilience.
• Exposure to payments, lending, digital onboarding/KYC, or platform/marketplace models.
• 6–10+ years experience in risk management, operational risk, technology risk, internal audit, or risk advisory/consulting, with fintech or financial services exposure.
• Demonstrated experience leading risk assessments / audits end-to-end and writing formal reports for senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of controls and how to test/validate them (design vs operating effectiveness).
