New Business Development Specialist Cape Town
Our investment client is looking for a New Business Development Specialist with 2-3 years experience within the Investment products and services space. Products include fund policies, living annuity, endowment, unit trust, tax-free savings accounts. Itd B2B sales in the financial services investment industry. Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in networking and business development – Investment, Asset Management or financial services.
Salary: Market related
Minimum Requirement:
- BCom or equivalent qualification
- RE5 advantageous
- FAIS Compliant as per DOFA requirements.
- Class of Business training – Long Term Insurance
- Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in networking and business development – Investment, Asset Management or financial services.
- Must have Valid Drivers License and own vehicle
- Must be able to travel on a regular basis – client visits
Responsibilities:
- Identify Opportunities: Conduct market research, analyse trends, and find potential clients and new markets.
- Generate Leads: Prospect for new business, use social media articles, and build networks to find potential clients.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.
- Develop Strategy: Create and execute plans to expand networks, enter new segments, and meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate: Work with marketing, and product teams to align growth strategies.
- Negotiate & Close: Handle proposals, negotiate deals, and support sales efforts.
