HR & Payroll Administrator Bellville Cape Town


Our client in Bellville Cape Town is looking for an HR Administrator with 3 years of experience in general HR Administration. You need an HR Certificate to apply for this role. Coming from a manufacturing/engineering production environment would be seen as a bonus but not an ultimate must.

Min Requirements

Matric and HR/Payroll Certificate

3 years HR / Payroll administration experience

Worked on HR/Payroll Software like ESS and VIP Payroll – or similar

Working knowledge of a SAGE People payroll system, ESS and time-keeping system (or similar)

Working knowledge of Excel and Word

Basic knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)


HR Administration duties including all filing and staff-related document recordkeeping

Loading of all staff application forms and info

Record all warnings and other related documents

Set up hearings and meetings

Advertising vacancies and assisting with screening

Assist in compiling month HR reports of staff movements and issues

Assist with payroll duties when it comes to clock-in hour monitoring

Load People on ESS and VIP Payroll

Loading and checking of sick and leave days

Loading of warnings and other documents

Distributing payslips and other important HR-related matters

Assist with staff training in the sense of setup and sourcing training vendors.
