Construction Project Manager Kuilsrivier Cape Town

Our construction building client of facilities is looking for a construction contracts manager with 3-5 years’ experience in project construction building management experience.

Salary up to R 45000 pm – depends on persons experience

Min Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Project Management /Construction management or relevant onsite experience.

A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience

Civil construction experience an added bonus

Own Driver’s license

Experienced within the technical construction building industry

Technical skill set within the Construction Industry

Strong management / Supervision and Planning skills

Ability to travel nationally – when needed

Process orientated / Multi project implementation success

Knowledge of Construction machinery including laser level equipment and or Installation equipment.

Ability to co-ordinate and oversee any new installations or upgrades to existing facilities

Responsibilities:

Controlling / monitoring of project expenses such as materials, equipment, fuel and labour

Managing and forecasting of project budgets / allowable vs expenses

Project construction planning and execution

Managing and supervising allocated teams to execute the required project scope

Leading and motivating teams in order to perform their allocated duties efficiently

Project planning, co-ordination and scheduling of required deliveries / materials

Implement / monitor project plans and ensure targets are achieved

Ensuring that all required equipment is available and utilized appropriately

Able to establish and maintain a sound relationship with new and existing clients

Control and Management of all permanent / temporary staff on allocation projects
