Logistics Supervisor Cape Town Airport
Well established exporter is looking for a Logistics Supervisor with Cold-room experience. Must have Airfreight experience. No Criminal Records – due to Airport regulations
Salary: Market Related depends on experience
Start date: ASAP or lates 1 April 2024
Working hours: Tuesday to Friday (must be flexible depends on flights)
Requirements:
Matric with Relevant qualifications
Must have Cold-room experience
Must have Export Experience
Must have Airfreight experience
3+ years as a Supervisor
Willing to be hands-on.
Willing to work irregular hours.
Capable of working under pressure with cut-off times.
Sense of urgency, precision, and attention to detail.
Key duties:
Management of a small team of subordinates – 4 staff
Cold chain management.
Preparation of shipments.
Handling of all administration from product arrival to shipping.
Stock taking and control.
Interaction between the company and freight forwarder.
Quality control.
