Bookkeeper Stellenbosch Cape Town
Our engineering client Stellenbosch Cape Winelands is looking for an experienced bookkeeper with up to 5 years experience. You need solid experience on PASTEL to complete a Trial Balance/Balance sheet. Must have set experience with full debtors, creditors, cashbook, ledgers, recons, salaries (35) people on pastel payroll. Must be SARS efiling experienced for PAYE, VAT and EMP’s.
Salary: Negotiable to experience

Matric
Relevant Bookkeeping/financial certificate/diploma an added bonus
3-5 years of bookkeeping experience is essential.
Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, distribution and service-related environment an added bonus.
Experience with VAT calculations
Excel experience essential
Responsibilities
Day to day Bookkeeping for a Trial Balance
Salaries and Wages 35 people Pastel Payroll
Submission to SARS
Full Debtors and Creditors
Report to Financial Manager
Sales Revenue
Dealing with SLA and Trade agreements
Assist with procurement and buying
Assist with tender documentation and bidding
Reconciling bank accounts
Posting of month-end journals (prepayments, depreciation, accruals etc.)
