Payroll Officer Parow Cape town
Our manufacturing client is looking for a Payroll Officer to handle large payrolls. You will need solid experience on SAGE 300 Payroll and SARS.
Salary Negotiable to experience
Min Requirements
Completed Matric.
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in finance handling large payrolls
Sage 300 experience is an advantage.
SARS Emp’s and other experience essential
Staff medical aid and pension experience – benefits
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for a large payroll of 2500 staff – Nationally
Calculate and distribute employee wages, including overtime, bonuses and deductions.
HR Recordkeeping of employee hours, salaries, and deductions.
Ensure payroll complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Administer employee benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and leave accruals.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues raised by employees.
Work with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll data and records.
Perform regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and submit tax filings, including with holdings and social security contributions.
